Begin And Resume, Which Is Correct?

After the baptism, Jesus did not begin His ministry in Galilee. Instead, He resumed His ministry. The word, resume, means that Jesus had worked in Israel before, and later came back to continue His works. Yes, before He went on world tour by visiting several countries of the world. He came back to Israel to continue His ministry, which He started as a child and maintained as a youth.

The Time To Start His Ministry

The harbinger, St John De Baptist, paved the way. He has introduced the Lord and Saviour to humanity. The Promised Son of God, who is also God Almighty, Jesus Christ, was by now set to begin His ministry in the Promised Land, Israel.

Starting With Prayer, Quiet Time And Meditation

And He went forth into the wilderness to be alone with God, that He might look into His inner heart, and note its strength and worthiness. And He talked with Himself. He said,

“My lower self is strong; by many ties I am bound down to carnal life.
Have I the strength to overcome and give my life a willing sacrifice for men?
When I shall stand before the face of men, and they demand a proof of my Messiahship, what will I say?”
